Hello!  My name is Emily and I am the owner of Barrister's Bakery LLC located in Roanoke, Virginia.

In 2015, when I was searching for a business name that would combine two of the things I love (baking and the law), I came up with Barrister's Bakery. By night, I get to work my dream job: helping couples like you bring your wedding vision to life, bringing it right from your Inspiration Board into real life.  I get to help ease your wedding planning worries while at the same time creating one-of-a-kind cake.  This is an honor I do not take lightly.

By day, I get to work at my other dream job as an attorney (aka "barrister" in England) at the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley.  I work for an incredible nonprofit organization that provides citizens below the povery level with access to justice, often fighting to protect them from uninhabitable housing conditions or other similar legal problems.  This impactful work is also an honor I do not take lightly.

My vision in serving you is that you will have no questions unanswered and no worries about your wedding cake from the moment you "say yes to the cake."
